Redeeming Digital Copy: Don't Have Disc

Hi Guys.

Ages ago i bought a DVD, which i have now lost.

I still have the Digital Copy Disc redeem paper, with the Code.

It asks me to insert the DVD into the DVD Drive before i can redeem it though.

2 Problems.

1) I lost it.
2) Even if i did have it, i'm on a retina Macbook Pro, which doesn't have a DVD Drive to begin with.

Surely Apple has a more practical way of approaching this matter for Macbook Pro owners without a drive? Not many people will be going to buy an external drive just for a redeem code.

Just curious, what digital copy are you trying to redeem?

Also, I don't believe Apple really cares about those of us who want to redeem digital copies. Not with regards to making a cheaper solution to read discs on newer macs. They'd love to make a sale on one of their external super drives, which are overpriced for what it is.

Usually digital copies that require a disc are only SD quality anyways. However it would be easier to know what movie it is. You can then type the name of the movie plus xml file and find the correct one.
