Redirect Pictures Folder

Hello,

I have my pictures on an external Thunderbolt drive. How do i redirect the MyPictures in finer to point to that external drive?

Uh, re-program your synapse to click on the external drive?

I would venture that it would be a very poor idea for a programmer to allow such a temporary change to be made to hard-coded Operating System pathways.

There are provisions in "finer" to display external hard disk drives in the "Sidebar", thus, providing the very same ease of access you seek to achieve with remapping the "Pictures" shortcut.

Just put an alias of the external Pictures folder into your Home directory.
