So, I re-downloaded Mac OS X Lion via option-clicking the purchased tab and whatever. I am installing it on a external drive, and then swapping it for my internal. Is the version i just downloaded 10.7.2? Or will it be the version that i downloaded in July? (10.7.0)

According to the Mac App Store and its Lion page and the "Information" column, it is 10.7.2.

good question i would think it would be 10.7.2, i believe the hold option click is jsut tricking the app store to think its not installed thus letting you download the current store version
