so in May i bought and paid for an app from Mac app store.

i didn't like it and deleted it.

i have $1.74 on my debit card and no other credit cards or anything.

it says i owe iTunes $2.99

and now i cant redownload the app i BOUGHT and PAID for already

ugh.. you don't understand...
i bought the app in May!!

i knw i owe itunes $2.99 thats a legit charge

Ok then what has happened is:

You bought an app - you own the app.
You removed it
you then bought some more apps, some of which aren't paid for yet - but you have got them.
before you can DL more content you will need to pay for those newer apps.

i think - correct me if that doesn't fit

You don't pay for apps immediately, as most buy a few in one visit they hold off the payments and then group them into fewer invoices. It saves them loads on card handling.

Yes i know but you will have to pay for any outstanding purchases before doing so - this is just how apple work it.

to get time machine go to spotlight and type in: time machine, that will give you the option to show the Time Machine menu item and then you can choose to enter time machine.

Why don't you just pay the 2.99 and get al your apps quick an easy? It would save you a lot of time - and you do owe apple the money.

I can see why this is frustrating, I hope time machine shows up something in the end.
