redownloading from the mac app store

I paid for and downloaded Awaken. It crashed all the time so I deleted it off my Mac. Now there is a version out that apparently don't crash in Lion. But I can't install it because the App store says it is already installed.
Apparently it's because the receipt for the purchase of it is buried somewhere deep inside the OS. I'd love to know where it is so I can trash it.
My work around was to download the app into a Parallels machine running Lion and then copy the app on to my main machine.
Still sucks tho.
