Hey guys, I am wondering who else is using redquit? Basically, I am using it under 10.8 and while it does exactly what I'd like it to (closes the application if I manually press the red close of a window), it is slightly annoying because it pops up every time I login....

While I have it set to start automatically upon login, I want it to run underneath and not prompt me with the settings menu every time so I have to close it manually. Does this happen to anyone else and how do I get it to start automatically but not popup?

System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items > check "Hide" box next to RedQuit

Works for any other app too. Use +/- below to add or remove startup apps.

Thank you for that! Exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for...

EDIT: Unfortunetly, I just tried it and it doesn't work....I check the hide box for redquits, restart my mac, log in and it still brings up a window :( Go back to Users and Hide is checked....

Ah. Take it up with the devs then; it shouldn't work like that.

I have emailed the DEV, hopefully he gets back to me...

Thanks anyway, looks like a bug in the software.
