I jailbroke my iOS 5 iPod touch 4th gen with redsn0w 0.9.9b7. The Cydia icon is white and crashes at launch. So I tried to "just boot", but tells me it failed to enter DFU mode even though the iPod is in DFU mode.

Kind of what happens to me, it says "exploit failed" after it starts to boot tethered for the first time after the initial jailbreak. I think I have the same version of redn0w, but it may have been .9.9b6.

Im trying to jailbreak my iphone 4 with ios5 using redsnow and i managed to do all the steps until the "just reboot tethered" because the software crashes and the phone ends up crashing as well and i have to press power+home button to bring it back. I already tried to open the software with compatibility mode and the problem continues (i use W7)
This is actually my first attempt to jailbreak since its my first iphone and i have it for 3 days now, so im still a bit lost in some parts =/

0.9.9b6 didn't work either, I guess I'll try 0.9.8b7.
