Redsn0w jailbreak, is it ok to use .ipsw file from the mac on windows

Just about jailbreak an ipod 2g using redsn0w 0.96. The .ipsw file is on a mac, but i am going to jailbreak on windows, will that pose a problem?

It's fine ipsw is a file format used by itunes.
