I'm jailbreaking another Iphone 3g here at work using Redsn0w 0.9.5b5-4 and the correct IPSW. The Redsn0w program recognized everything and the phone rebooted, but it is at the "Downloading Jailbreak Data" screen and has been for over 15 minutes.
Is it really downloading via cyberspace or should it be using what was in the Redsn0w download?
Is it hung up and if so, should I repeat the JB process? I didn't want to interrupt it if it just taking a long time to download since it would be via 3G here at work.
That is certainly longer than it should be taking. Mine took a total of 5-8 minutes for the whole jailbreak. Granted, I don't have 3G data or MMS so maybe you have to wait that long to get that.
I have no answers for you. Not sure what to do there.
