I want to jailbreak my iPhone 3G with redsn0w. I am on 2.5 firmware, I believe. Do I upgrade first to 3.0 via iTunes, as in iTunes will download legitimate software from Apple and install OR do I download 3.0 firmware from megaupload and restore to it in iTunes?
Everything else causes no issues to me, it's pretty much forward.
