Hey all, I'm pretty new to the whole jailbreaking scene and I'm coming across a strange bug. When ever I turn off my iPhone my whole phone freezes and then I have to reconnect it to my mac and run redsn0w to get it back up and running again. Does anyone else have this problem or is there a solution to fix it? Thanks!

sounds like you have a tethered jailbreak. What FW version are you running?

Might want to re-jailbreak.

I've tried re-jailbreaking multiple times. I'm on a verizon iPhone and it says my Modem FW is 1.0.06 (4.2.8 software)

Like he said, you may have tethered jailbreak, look for untethered version. Being your on 4.2.8 it's a little more difficult, but can be done.
