EDIT: i got it to work using this method! just point redsn0w to the GM firmware and then be on ur merry way! EDIT 2 : pic for ya from a screeny of my ipod touch 2g lastly, if cydia's icon isn't appearing, you need to add a repo. the url is http://apt.saurik.com/cydia-3.7 after that, you should be dandy.
