Redsnow on PPC Mac??

I've got a PPC mac and want to jailbreak my 3g on 4.0 with Redsnow, but from what I've found it won't work.

Are there any other JB options for someone using a PPC mac?

I have access to a Windows machine, but keep all my data for my iphone on my Mac.

Can I jailbreak on the Windows machine using redsnow and still sync my data on my Mac?
