Just wanted to warn potential jailbreakers that the latest Redsnow did not work on my iMac.
iPhone 4, 4.3.2, baseband 1.59. Went through the steps, but Redsnow always gave me the "unexpected error" after starting up OK. I could finally solve it by using a PC
, but this also did not go smoothly as the phone was stuck in recovery mode.
After googling I found that this is a common situation, therefore I tried to post on the dev-team forum and promptly got censored and banned
I now just think that the jailbreak/unlock software is of very poor quality, as is the attitude on their forums. If you do attempt it, just make sure you also have a PC nearby, just in case...
