I have a bunch of HD movies and TV shows in iTunes for me to watch on my AppleTV. Most of them are in 720p and the average file size for each movie is about 2GB. If I decide to sync a movie or TV show with my iPhone or iPod it syncs the full 2GB movie and leaves me with 0 space.
Is there a way to have iTunes "downsize" the movie automatically to fit the quality needs of my small screen? There is no reason for me to have a 2 GB movie on a 4" screen.
Do I have to manually "downsize" each one myself? That would rule out any quick movie swap on my iPhone as I would have to plan at least a day in advance to downsize the movie ahead of time.
