Just curious, I have heard all about using reduce white point to darken a screen instead of turning brightness way down on OLED displays to avoid the worst of the flicker, but is there a real use case for that option on the LCD displays? If you want to make the screen darker on say an XR or 11, is there a reason anyone would use reduce white point at all instead of just turning the brightness down to the desired level?
