reducing picture quality while publishing to iWeb?

I just recieved iLife '06, and I'm messing with iWeb.

I really like being able to publish my photos in iWeb directly from iPhoto, but, living in the boonies, uploading is a nightmare.

Is there any way to make iPhoto export lower quality pics to iWeb instead of the full quality?

Thanks ahead of time and sorry if this is a no-brainer. My questions usually are.
