reducing video size for youtube

Hi

I had a video of 80MB which i wanted to load onto youtube. How can i reduce the size of the file as its just 3 min long.

Reducing the physical size of the video to something smaller.
eg: 640 x 480 to 320 x 240


Reducing the audio from stereo to mono and reducing the rate to something like 22 from 44 etc.

I found that the sorenson cinepak and h264 codec's dramatically reduce the filesize.

Ive heard rumours that Youtube are converting all video content to H264 so thats probably where you want to go.
