I have a few divx videos i want to fit all in one DVD DL disk. I was thinking of maybe reencoding them so i can achieve smaller file sizes in order to fit. Is it possible, what app will i have to use?

Depends what you want to do. If you just want to store them there, you could use Quicktime Pro to transcode them. If you want them to play in a DVD player, you could use Toast Titanium to compress and encode them into DVD-compatible files.

I want them stored on a DVD DL disk in order to view them later using QTime or any other video player!

ok what i want to do isnt DVD format, i want to reencode to divx but make it smaller by 10 or 20mb so i can stack all the clips to fit in one DVD DL disk!

aslo... how about the overburn feature? can toast do it? i have the Sony/ΝEC/Optiarc 7173A dvd writter, cani do anything with that option?

Wow handbreak is exceptional and yes it is very easy to use! Thanx for recommending it!
Can it be used to convert divx with subs to DVD5 format?
