I've got a very basic poster that I need to update, and have found the Illustrator CS3 file and a PDF copy.
The PDF comes in as 1.5mb and has the images embedded fine - but the .ai file doesn't seem to have them, despite being 2 images, 2 lines of text, and a line or two (and at 2.3mb you'd have thought the pics could well be in there).
Is there:
a) any way I can find the images embedded in the .ai file?
b) any simple way I can *edit* a line of the pdf text in Acrobat 8 Pro? 'cause it certainly doesn't want to let me...
c) edit the pdf in Illustrator? when I open it in preview/acrobat, the images come up fine, but in Illustrator, the images don't show up.

[edit] sorted it - noted photoshop can extract the images
