Though we are all disappointed, we must give props to the Apple graphic design team.

Every product shot of the new MPB on the Apple website highly emphasizes the intense glare we will experience when using the defacto display option.

Maybe this can be a productivity boost for myself and my dev. team.

During long coding sessions, I can now fix my hair, maybe spot a whitehead and destroy it, and maybe practice some my "You know you want me" grin for all the office chicks.

hmmm so this got me thinking...maybe they were "forced" to use the glossy glass screen from someone higher up or other influences.
Maybe they for a great deal on some cheap and nasty lcd screens and thought we'll just whack on a glass surface to make it "look" better.
i know there are heaps of cheap and nasty lcd tvs out there that does this.
