Edit: Nevermind, I'm an idiot. I was using the applications DVD instead of the OSX install DVD, didn't realize I had both.
Hi all,
I just reformatted my bootcamp partition so I could install a fresh copy on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and when I got to the install portion (on the windows dvd) it wouldn't let me install even though I had run bootcamp assistant in osx prior because it said the partition was not ntfs, a quick format fixed this and I was on my way. I installed windows and booted into it, did updates etc. When I popped in my iMac Applications Install DVD (the only thing that came with my computer I'm pretty sure) to install drivers for windows, it couldn't be read by windows. Windows thinks the disc is blank and it won't install any of the bootcamp drivers. I wen't to apple.com and downloaded bootcamp 3.2 and it told me I needed 3.1 first, so I downloaded 3.1 only to have it tell me I needed 3.0. Apparently apple.com doesn't offer 3.0 for download so I downloaded it from another site but when I ran it it gives the error 'Bootcamp x64 is unsupported on this computer model'. I really can't think of what else to do, I can't get windows to read this DVD at all, even though I could swear this is the same DVD I used last time to install the drivers and it worked without a hitch. If anyone could provide any assistance it would be greatly appreciated, I'm getting pretty frustrated over here
