I tried reformatting my usb stick to exFAT, to allow files larger than 4gb on it. Of course, after doing that, the BD Player I attempted to connect it to wouldn't read it, so I attempted to change it back to it's original FAT32 format, which I did by erasing it in Disk Utility. However, whereas before, if I attempted to copy a file >4gb, it would come up with an error message and not allow me to, it now is allowing the file to be copied over, which leads me to believe it hasn't been formatted back to FAT32. Could someone tell me what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you.

It doesn't sound like it's FAT32. Could you confirm the partition format of that USB stick? Perhaps you accidentally didn't set it up like you wanted it to be. It's happened to me more than once.
