Dear Forum,
I've searched the forums but to no avail: can anyone offer a non-windows user advice on how to reformat a 20gb 2G ipod to work on a windows computer?
I am working to donate an ipod to a blind colleague so he can listen to books on tape and radio (rss feeds) on his long train journey to and from work each day. I want to set it up so it is completely ready for him to use, because if it is difficult he could be frustrated. The materials I have to work with are the aforementioned ipod, an ibook operating on Panther, and finally access to a windows laptop.
Any advice on how I could get this ready for him before I give it to him? I want to make it as easy as possible. I am also putting together a guide for his wife so that she can upload RSS feeds and audiobooks (I've been advised she's rather computer-illiterate). any advice on this is also very kindly taken. FYI they both speak English (we are in Belgium) so advice in that language is very welcomed.
Thanks so much!
Erin
