I got a mini mac a couple months ago and now im going to sell it cause i need the money. Is there a way to format the hard drive and then reinstall the os so its as if the day i got it? I know it came with 2 'install' disks but i dont know if those will do the trick. Thanks

Yep, they should do the trick.

If you boot up from the first CD. Insert disc and hold down C straight after you hear the startup bong.

Do an erase and install which will reformat the hard disc. Once it's done that it will boot up to the welcome screen and ask for your language. I would then turn it off at that point (press and hold power button). The next user can then set it up according to their needs.
