Can anyone here tell me if the refreshed 27" Retina iMac will still support Windows 7 through Bootcamp? I remember reading on here that on Macbooks and on the Mac Pro they Bootcamp only works with Windows 8 and higher. Can someone please confirm if the refreshed current Retina iMac can still run Windows 7 through Bootcamp? And all help would be greatly appreciated.

Macs with Haswell are the last ones that support BIOS emulation which is "required" to run Windows 7. Broadwell and Skylake, or at least how Apple implements them, drop this compatibility and therefore is all but certain that the new iMacs can't run Windows 7 (of course there will be workarounds, but it won't be easy).
