I'm a little worried with the next MB refresh of a possible non-removable battery like the 17" MBP.

Is this a possibility? I like the extra battery life, yet self-replacement of the battery would be nice.

What is your prediction and position on this?

i'll go with no. The higher portability factor of the MB as opposed to the 17"MBP will most likely keep them from going to that option for the MB line.. And besides, the MB is much smaller then the MBP 17", so the gain in having a non-removable battery would probably not be as significant as the 17" because the battery itself would be much smaller. that's just my opinion...

I hope that the next refresh of Macbooks have an option for a removable battery or internalized. I would love to have a non removable, especially if it means better battery, yet some people need to be able to swap batteries on the fly.
