Hey guys

I own a MBP Retina 13" Display from Mid 2014. Does anyone know what the refresh rate is for this computer? Is it 30? I heard 15" has 60..

Will this affect the quality if I buy a Thunderbolt Display?

The internal display's refresh rate is identical across all models.

The external display refresh rate is also identical across all models as long as the external display is 2560x1600 or lower.

The external display refresh rate is different if a 4K (3840x2160) external display is used. On the 13" rMBP, it's 30 Hz. On the 15" rMBP, it's 60Hz.

This is because the U-series Haswell processors cannot support 60 Hz.

Oh, ok I see :) Thanks!

If you mean on the actual built in display then it's 60Hz, external refresh rates are dependant on the resolution.
