Installed the developer beta on WWDC day, all working fine. Today I've got a notification to install a new update, even though Beta 2 hasn't been released yet.

Anyone else getting this?

Seems iOS 26 for some devices was updated from version 23A5260n to 23A5260u on June 13th. Only just been notified.

Yes you are right. Seems all 15 and 16 models got it. And it's only iOS. iPadOS and others didn't get an update for new devices.

If you are going to be on a developer beta, subscribe to the macrumors or 9to5Mac RSS feed so you know when there are updates. Otherwise you will always be a week or so behind and your feedback has probably already been addressed.

Normally Developer Beta updates show up very quickly. At least on macOS. If I am sleeping on release time and wake up maybe two hours later I already see the red 1 on the System Settings or a notification.

My iPhone didn't get that update and I am not sure if beta updates generally show up later there because I rarely use my phone.

I wasn't on this site for a few weeks I think. Thanks for the RSS idea, I somehow never tried that. I found a free reader and it was really easy. That other stuff was already in there for whatever reason. Never heard of anything except BBC News.
