iPod touch Refreshed itouch????

So i took my itouch 3gen back to best buy for warenty to fix the battery. then thay send me a Best Buy refreshed ipod is that the same as refurbished because i just want to sell it.

Doubt it.
When Apple refurbishes they replace the battery and the case and check all functionality.
Best Buy probably only weeds out obvious cosmetic damage and checks that it at least powers-on.
