Refunding a pre order?

Can I just go into an apple store and refund all the money back to my credit card ... As may get an iPad tonight from tesco. Do they simply just refund?

Not to hijack your thread, but I pre-ordered the 32GB and I want a 64GB now. Can I just go to an Apple store with my unopened 32 and exchange it for a 64, paying the difference? Or does it have to be refunded to CC first?

they normally refund the original purchase in full to the cc, then you pay for the replacement device.
