refurb - 256 flash or 256 PCie flash storage

Hi guys
just looking at refurb 15" Mac Book Pro
2014 had flash and 2015 had PCle
is there a huge performance difference? And what is the difference?

BTW, the 2014 also has PCIe flash storage.

Both are PCI-e. The difference is that 2014 is connected via PCIe x2 (5.0GT/s) and 2015 model x4 bus (8.0GT/s)

2015 is about 50% faster in sequential transfers which looks great in benchmarks, but the practical difference is negligible as the 2014 was super fast already.
