iPod touch refurb 2G?

how long does it take till a product gets on the refurbished list? cuz i like refurbs as they are cheaper and just don't come with fancy packaging. i also heard that this time, the packaging of the ipod touch is harder to open so does anyone know when the ipt 2g will be on refurb?

Refurbs always come online in the beginning of January.

You're right, the packaging is ridiculously difficult to open. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to do it without damaging the iPod. I got mine replaced and that time it took a Genius and an assistant manager about the same to open my new one.
