Refurb iMac from other seller

I'd love to get a 3.4 GHz refurb iMac but the sales tax here makes it so expensive I may as well buy a new one online. Anyone know how long it takes those refurb iMacs to trickle down ?

My alternative is buying last year's 2.93GHz model for $1499 at MacMall new. No Tunderbolt or Sata 3 and older video card but still a decent machine.

Found an Open Box iMac at MacMall

It was the next best thing. I'd wanted a 2011 iMac Refurb but settled on a 2010 Open Box iMac from MacMall. $1789 for the i7 2.93 GHz with 256SSD. Seemed pretty good.
