I read on another site a few days ago that since apple released the C2D macbooks, that some of the CD macbooks in the refurb section were actually new UN-refurbished macbooks. Do you think this could be true? That would be kind of sweet. I just ordered a refurb 1.83ghz white macbook last night.

I definitely think that could be true. If they still have stock, they can't sell them on there normal site, so those have to go to the refurb section. Good luck with your new computer. :)

I would doubt it. On the Special Deals page, there is a section for refurbs and another one for sale items. For example, they are selling old MBP model under the Sale section. I believe this is where they unload they old inventory rather than throught the refurbs. That said, anything is possible. Either way, I am sure you will love your Macbook. Enjoy!

Thanks for the reponses. I will be happy either way. I haven't used a mac in coming up on 4 months. It's killing me. I sold my G3 iBook back in august in preperation for the purchase of a new macbook. It fell through cause tuition and books were a little more than expected. I seriously can not wait till I can stop using the dell!

It ships tomorrow... :D

You have to go to an actual store. It's not going to be posted on their website. Grab 'em if you see 'em. Inventory is beginning to run low.

I'm on the phone with them right now. I don't even think this guy knows what a macbook is. He kept saying "you want a 1.83ghz notebook?"

macbook son!
