Refurb MacBook pro specs?

Hi, sorry if this has been discussed elsewhere, but I ordered a refurbished MacBook pro last Saturday and I'm wondering if anyone has had the experience like the desktop users where they come with extra upgrades that weren't listed. Has anyone had this happen to them?

Yes it is always possible, as if some extra software was installed originally then it most likely will come preinstalled, apple just does not advertise it. This really is hit or miss though.

There is always the chance that you will get upgrades on laptops as well, I've seen posts about them before here on MacRumors

Ok, thanks! Also, it's advertised to have leopard on it, any chance that may also be a lie and it has snow leopard on it? Or is that hit or miss also?

It'll most likely come with Leopard on it, most likely. I bought a refurbished iBook G4 years back a few months after Tiger had come out and the iBook came with Panther.

I bought my refurb MacBook Pro about 4 months ago. Snow Leopard was already installed, and it was ordered with a 250GB hard drive, and arrived with a 320GB instead. I'm guessing if they're out of your particular configuration, they'll ship available upgrade.
