Just got my new macbook from the refurb shop yesterday. Its absolutely pristine, delighted :)

I'd ordered the 250gb with 2gb ram and i opened it up to find a 320 and 4gb ram!! Amazing. Ive heard of this happening before but you never expect it.

The machine itself is beautiful and a huge step up from my old ibook it replaced.

Just wondering if the free bump in specs has happened to many or why it happens at all? I figured they just have a refurb box and send it out?? Im not complaining tho

maybe they ran out of the configuration you ordered and figured they'd hook you up. thats awesome thing, I wish my refurb came upgraded heh

Did you get this from the Apple Store? Because the refurbs on Apple's Online store are Built to Own that were returned. So they resell them as refurbs with the base spec listed.
