I found a last gen macbookpro (bought march 2008) for sale used with the following specs;
2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor
OS X v10.5 Leopard
4 GB RAM (two SO-DIMM) 677 MHz DDR2 SD-RAM (PC2-5300),
200 GB 5400 rpm Serial ATA hard drive
8x Super Drive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
15.4-inch (diagonal), 1440 by 900 resolution, matte TFT LED widescreen display with NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256 MB of GDDR3 memory and dual-link DVI

Is it worth paying more then twise the price for a new macbookpro 2,8 ghz, 4gb RAM, 320GB 7200rpm? Is the performance worth the extra money? (i have no problems with glossy screen) How is the battery of the new compared to the old, does the old one last lil longer?

I will use adobe indesign,illustrator cs3, ps cs3, apeture and pro tools on it.
