refurb macbooks

The refurb Macbook pros are looking very tempting. My question is will I see much difference in performance between the core duo ($1299) model opposed to the core2 duo (&1599) enough to justify the $300 dif in price. I could put the difference to maxing out the ram on the lower end model.

There's a ton of threads on this already, I would recommend doing a search through the forums. As a quick response, though, unless you're doing really processor-heavy tasks all the time, you'll get much better value for your dollar going with the cheaper Core Duo and putting your savings towards maxing out your RAM.
