Do you think any of the refurbs are sata3? I want to get one where i can have 2HD and the main drive a SSD with sata 3. I have read the recent 15and 17 mbp are shipping as sata 3.

you will have to look for the 2011 models (with quad core i7), only them have sata 3

Yea that is what I am getting a 2011 i7, but I thought not all of them had sata3/6gbs? If i buy a refurb can i return it because its not sata 3 like i want.

I thought all of them had it. They wouldn't produce a model with SATA III and one with SATA II
