Refurb or ADC iMav Help!

i was wondering if i should get the Refurb iMac 24" 2.4ghz 1gb ram, 320gb hd (1400 plus tax) or go for the new macs and use the ADC

i was wondering how exactly the ADC worked. i am a future college student so i should be eligible soon. and if i do ADC, how much exactly would i save on a iMac 3.06?

What's an iMav?

You won't save enough with the ADC on an Imac to justify the $100 buy in, unless you REALLY want to develop; you'll save more using the student discount.

However, if you want a MBP or MP, then it is worth it because you'll save more $$$.
