Hey guys do you know how the cheapest apple has gone on Refurbed 17" 2.33 MBP

Given the current selling price of refurb SR MBPs, I'd guess around $2000 USD or so. I haven't seen a 17" 2.33Ghz for a while, but I haven't been watching that hard.

I'm of the opinion that the pittance you'll save on a refurb isn't worth the greatly-increased risk on laptops and ipods. On desktops, it may be worth it; but I've got only anecdotal evidence to support that.

You've got a lower chance of buying a lemon with a refurbished laptop than you do with buying a new one, because a refurbished laptop has actually gone through QC with human beings.
