Hi,

I think I'm going to buy a refurbished Macbook (Aluminium or Pro), but what is the return policy?

If I get it, and I'm not happy can i return it?

What if it has a scratch or dead pixels? Can I return it for a replacement?

Will it be updated with the latest Snow Leopard?

What box does it come in? The apple site implys it will come in the same box as usual..

Thanks!

Please search the forums. These questions have been answered before.

Your notebook has the same return policy as their new products, 14 days. If you hate it then you pay a restock fee. If there is something wrong with it then they'll likely swap it out. If it is scratched then I say good luck proving it wasn't you. Dead pixels, there is a tolerance but you have to call them and see. It will come with Snow Leopard either installed or as a drop-in DVD.

It usually comes in a brown box.

Mine just arrived Thursday. It came with Snow Leopard as a drop in disc, it had 10.5.6 installed on it. It came in a box shaped like the regular boxes but it was solid white instead. HTH :)
