Hey guys,

I'm thinking of buying this iMac from the Australian refurbished store:
http://store.apple.com/au/product/FC511X/A?mco=MTkwMzU2MjI

Specs -
Originally released July 2010
27-inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen display
4GB memory
1TB hard drive
8x SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
ATI Radeon HD 5750 graphics with 1GB memory
Built-in iSight camera

Is the current iMac a big leap from this one?
Am I able to replace the hard drive with an SSD? Would this involve taking out the glass display? Or is the store able to replace this with a 3rd party hard drive of your choice?

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

cheers,
Peter

What are you going to do with it? The new one is obviously faster but whether it's worth the extra is another question. There is space for SSD but it involved taking off the glass.
