I purchased an iPad 2 yesterday (yay tax returns) but unbeknownst to me, my girlfriend also had the same idea and ordered a refurbished original iPad online. It had already shipped so my question is can we return the unopened refurbished iPad without jumping through hoops? I've bought refurb Apple items many times before (Macbook Pro, iPods etc) but I've never returned any so I was just curious if its any different. Any help would be great

You can return it quite easily using an online form if you login to the Apple Store online.

I don't think you'll be able to return it to a physical store though.

Ohh, and just to make life easier for you, don't be tempted to open the box before you send it back... just leave it as is. You don't want it to get damaged in return delivery and have Apple / Carrier accuse you of breaking it and then returning it.

:)

oh I won't be tempted, the iPad 2 that I bought will keep me busy I think ;) At this point I don't think we each need an iPad, though you never know haha

thanks for the help!
