Hi guys!
I was having signal/carrier problems with my 32GB iPhone 4S after using it for 9 months. I have never dropped the phone and always taken care of it so I confused why I had signal problems. Vodafone offered me solutions such as a new sim, changing settings and restoring but none solved the problem.
I have over 2 months warranty so last Sunday I decided to take it to the Vodafone store (UK network provider) to get it fixed. I received a text today saying my original phone "could not be fixed at a reasonable time" and therefore a refurbished phone was sent to the store. I went to the store during my lunch break and went back to work, when I got back I switched on the phone and immediately notice the screen had a yellow tinge compared to my original iPhone. Colours were less vibrant, screen is a little dull even when it's at this brightest setting and screen looks washed out.
I decided to go back to the store but the manager refused to send it back to their service centre again because it'd cost them £65.00 and advised me to contact Apple to see if they can fix or replace the phone.
I have an appointment with the Genius Bar at the Apple store on Saturday so hopefully they can offer me a replacement or fix the screen for me. I very annoyed with Vodafone, they solved my signal problem by offering me a phone with screen problems.
Has anyone else noticed a yellow tinge on your 4S screen? How did you solved the problem?
Thanks!
