Hi everyone. I recently had to swap my iPhone 5 due to a wifi fault and got a refurbished iPhone 5 from apple. My original iPhone was locked to Vodafone as an upgrade. I'm just curious whether the replacement from apple is locked to Vodafone as well or does it accept any SIM card? Thinking of selling this phone when I next upgrade which why I'm curious.

They'll be locked to whichever network the original phone was. When they put it through the system it copies the activation profile over to the new phone.

Ahh ok. I'm in the uk so I don't know if it makes any difference or not? Oh well otherwise I'll get it unlocked another way
