I have been searching the past few days for an iPod to replace my (now broken) Classic that I used in my car (with iPod hookup). I remember seeing that GameStop now carries refurbished iPods and iPads. What I didnt know was that they carried iPhones too! I was going to get a iPod Touch for the car but I ended up buying one of their refurbished 32GB 3GS instead! It was about the same price as a touch so I figured why not? And it looks great, almost like someone kept it in a otterbox for the last 2 years!

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up just in case you are in the same situation as I was - wanting a new touch- might as well get a new touch AND backup phone!

With the way GameStop sells "refurbished video games" like 10% off msrp.

Better to take my chances on eBay or Craigslist for a used iPhone.

They are probably trying to sell a used iPhone 3GS for $200-220 plus u have to pay sales taxes.

U can get a used iPhone 4 for around $250 no sales taxes.

$199 - then I used some store credit that I had.

I've looked on Craigslist when I was shopping for a touch. Everyone wanted $100+ for one, I even wrote one person saying their price was higher than GameStop's and they told me to go buy it at GameStop.

And like I said above, I was just looking for something to replace the classic that was in my car. Sure I could have just bought a nano, but I would have easily lost that thing in the car. I was just letting people know that I thought gamestop had a pretty good deal considering I walked in expecting to pay $150+ for a iPod Touch but instead I have a touch + a phone for about $160 (after some credit that I had)
