So, I'm looking to buy a decent mac (either iBook, yes I know they are outdated, or macbook) I'm really tight on budget, but a mac is what I'm still looking into. Does anyone have any recs on websites of where I should purchase a refurbished iBook (advice on g3 and g4??) or macbook? The apple store has listed refurbished macbook for 850$, thats a little too much for me right now, so I'm looking for something cheaper.

Thanks

I think the apple store is the only place to get a refurb with the "same warranty as new".

Your best prices on iBooks will be ebay, but also look for the Core Duo (as opposed to the core 2 duo) MB's there. You can find a CDMB for the $600-ish range, and I suspect you will be much, much happier in the long run.
