Does anyone know what does AS IS+ stand for on an Apple Certified Refurbished box?!

I'm guessing kitKAC is right about the color designation, but am less sure about the meaning of "AS IS+", which I might have supposed was a statement about the unit's condition, with possible warranty implications.

The box containing my Apple-refurbished silver M1 MBP (purchased through Woot with a 1-year Apple warranty) came with this label:

Presumably RFB SL = Refurbished Silver.

OP:

You didn't tell us where you bought this from.
Is this an Apple-refurbished unit ordered directly from Apple's online refurbished store?

No it’s an Apple certified refurbished item ordered from eBay. It came in a sealed white Apple refurbished box. 🤷‍♂️

The box itself is not genuine as they are sold without packaging. But resellers put them in boxes to make them look better and get higher price.

These resource units are assembled by Foxconn, Quanta, or other third parties with the permission of Apple using left over, refurb, or used parts. They don’t meet the standard for Apple certified refurb, which is why they are sold AS IS.

Oh I see. Thank you for the info. Much appreciated
